Dear East Middle School Families,

Welcome to East Middle School!

I hope you and your family have enjoyed a wonderful summer. As we begin a new school year, I am excited and honored to welcome you to our Ram Family. As the new principal of East Middle School, I look forward to partnering with our students, families, and staff to make this a year filled with growth, learning, and success.

At East Middle School, we are committed to creating an environment where every student is known, valued, challenged, and supported. Our goal is to be one of the finest middle schools in Montana by ensuring that every student experiences meaningful academic growth while developing the skills and character needed for future success.

We believe that strong partnerships between school and home are essential. We ask our students to come to school ready to learn, engaged in their education, and committed to regular attendance. Consistent attendance is one of the strongest predictors of academic success, and we encourage all students to make school attendance a priority.

Our dedicated teachers work tirelessly to provide high-quality instruction that meets the needs of every learner. Through research-based instructional practices, a focus on student engagement, and a commitment to continuous improvement, we strive to ensure that all students grow academically while building confidence in their abilities. Just as importantly, we are committed to supporting students socially, emotionally, and behaviorally as they navigate the middle school years.

At East, we want our students to become independent, responsible, and self-directed learners. We encourage students to take ownership of their learning, advocate for themselves, and contribute positively to our school community.
